Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th of October 1992) was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She has a prominent role as a character in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. She was awarded the National Film Award for Best Actress for portraying actress Savitri on the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). Additionally, she was awarded an award from the Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar is the child of film producer G. Suresh Kumar, and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her acting journey began in the early 2000s. Her first leading performance in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Her first film outside of Malayalam was Idhuenna Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. The film didn't do well at the box office. In 2015 she released A. A. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu against each other. But, both films didn't do very well at the theaters. To fit in more ambitious projects, she needed to pull out of films she had started working on. These include Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. For a short period of time she collaborated with Sivakarthikeyan for Rajini Murugan, Remo and she also acted as the lead on Prabhu Sool's Thodari alongside Dhanush. She made her Telugu debut had been scheduled as Ainaa Ishtam nuvvu. The film has been delayed from 2015 with reports that it would be released in September, 2020 under the name Janakitho Nenu. In the end, the film's first film to debut was in 2016's Nenu Sailaja which starred actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was cast as Vijay on screen in Bairavaa by Bharathan the film, which debuted on January 17, 2017.
